The Zimbabwe Driving School Owners Association (ZDSOA) said that the death of Transport and Infrastructure Development Minister Joel Biggie Matiza was a huge loss to them as he was an approachable individual.
ZDSOA president Edwin Ndlovu said they had presented several programmes to the ministry which were at various stages of implementation. Said Ndlovu:
As an association, we had presented many programmes and recommendations to the ministry which were in the process of being implemented concerning our sector.
He shall be missed not only by his family and colleagues but by the entire nation.
Matiza (61) succumbed to COVID-19-related complications on Friday last week.
He was buried on Wednesday at the National Heroes Acre during a ceremony presided over by Acting President Constantino Chiwenga.
