Kuda Mahachi Injured During Yesterday's Game

Warriors Midfielder Kuda Mahachi was injured yesterday during the game between Supersport United and TS Galaxy. Mahachi who had been named as part of the squad that will face Botswana and Zambia in the AFCON qualifiers matches to be played this month was substituted in the 57th minute as he limped off the field yesterday.

Kudas’ injury if it is severe, or if it needs more time to heal will definitely dampen Warriors Coach Zdravko Logarusic’s spirits as he was one of the players he was hoping will help his boys score some points in the AFCON qualifiers.

Zimbabwe is in Group H together with Algeria, Botswana, and Zambia and Algeria has 10 points while Botswana has 4 points while Zambia has 3 points so far. Zimbabwe has 5 points so far and still has 2 matches to play to qualify for the AFCON.
