COVID-19 Recovery Rate Slows Down
The Number of people recovering from COVID-19 in Zimbabwe has slowed down over the past week. The update on the progression of the pandemic in Zimbabwe that is shared daily by the Ministry Of Health has shown that the country recorded less than 220 recoveries were recorded in the country over the past 7 days. However, the ministry stated that the rate slowed down by 0.1% only in the last 7 days.
Here are the recoveries that have been recorded by the country over the last 7 days according to the ministry:
- 06 March 2021 – 46 recoveries
- 07 March 2021 – 29 recoveries
- 08 March 2021 – 38 recoveries
- 09 March 2021 – 47 recoveries
- 10 March 2021 – 14 recoveries
- 11 March 2021 – 19 recoveries
- 12 March 2021 – 24 recoveries
Meanwhile hospitalised cases have remained above 120 for the last 7 days according to the ministry of health’s update on the hospitalisations of 10 March 2021 126 people are still hospitalised due to the novel coronavirus:
As of 10 March 2021 @1500 hrs there were 126 hospitalised cases, assymptomatic 82, mild to moderate 24, severe 18 and 2 in Intensive care units.
The update also stated that Harare recorded 0 COVID-19 deaths yesterday and the 4 deaths were recorded in Bulawayo(2), Manicaland and Mashonaland Central.
