National Flag Carrier Air Zimbabwe reportedly left Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare to China to take the second bath of the COVID-19 vaccines donated by China, CGTN reports.
This was contained in a very short update that was posted by CGTN that stated that:
A Zimbabwean charter flight took off from the capital city Harare at noon on Sunday to fetch the second batch of China-donated COVID-19 vaccines as well as the first procurement of the Chinese-made vaccine.
The plane is due to arrive in Beijing on Monday.
The plane is expected to bring 200 000 more doses of the vaccines donated by China to Zimbabwe according to the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Guo Shaochun.
Meanwhile Zimbabwe yesterday did not vaccinate anyone for reasons unknown to this reporter at this point.
