WATCH: The Now-deceased Fighter Pilot Annita Mapiye Flying Helicopter

In an undated short video clip below, the late Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) pilot Flight-Lieutenant Annita Mapiye is seen navigating a military helicopter over rugged terrain.

Mapiye, who is Zimbabwe’s first female helicopter fighter pilot, was killed in a horrific helicopter crash last Friday in the Chinyika area of Goromonzi, Mashonaland East Province.

Mapiye, another pilot, a technician, and an 18-month-old toddler identified as Jade Fenyere, died when the Agusta Bell 412 (AB 412) helicopter crashed into a house at Plot 2 of Gardner Road, Ward 16 in Goromonzi.
