Harry Kane has once again told his club, Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to leave amid interest from Manchester City, United and Chelsea.
The English international made it clear that he wants to play for major European competitions but that is not possible at Spurs who are set to miss the Champions League.
Kane has so far scored 22 goals and made 13 assists this season.
He has been on top of the game for many successive seasons now scoring 220 goals in 334 appearances, yet, he has not won any trophy.
Spurs look set to finish the current season at the summit of the table but fell down the log when the dazzling striker sustained an injury that kept him on the sidelines.
Speaking on the development, Sky Sports News reporter Paul Gilmour said:
_It’s been no secret that Harry Kane has wanted to compete for the top honours, both as a team and individually. It’s been a frustrating season for him personally. It hasn’t happened for Spurs with Champions League qualification. It will be a second season that he hasn’t had that._
_He is valued at well over £120m, probably, and the rest, if Spurs and Daniel Levy have anything to say about it because let’s face it, the ball is in their court._
Tottenham had managed to persuade Kane to stay last summer when one English club came in for him expecting things to change under the leadership of Jose Mourinho.
Personally, Harry Kane has had a brilliant season under Mourinho, but as a team, Tottenham struggled.
Kane signed his current contract with Spurs ahead of the 2018 World Cup. It’s a deal that ties him to the club until 2024.
