Christian Ericksen Remains In Stable Condition After Collapsing On The Pitch
Danish footballer Christian Eriksen remains in a stable condition and sent his greetings to his teammates, the Danish FA said in a statement on Sunday.
Ericksen (29), collapsed at the Parken Stadium during Denmark’s opening UEFA Euro 2020 match against Finland on Saturday evening.
He was given emergency CPR on the pitch with the game temporarily suspended just before half-time with the player taken to Rigshospitalet for further examinations. The Danish FC said in a statement:
Latest news: This morning we have spoken to Christian Eriksen, who has sent his greetings to his teammates.
His condition is stable, and he continues to be hospitalized for further examination.
The team and staff of the national team has received crisis assistance and will continue to be there for each other after yesterday’s incident.

Following the dramatic scenes on the pitch, stadium announcers said that the final minutes of the first half would be played, then following a short break, the second half.
Finland’s Joel ohjanpalo scored against the run of play in the 60th minute to give his country the win.
