The government is working towards the revival of the public sector transport that had recently been dominated by private-owned computer omnibuses (Kombis).
Authorities have been actively encouraging public-private partnerships, a call that has received mixed responses.
Some kombi owners contracted their vehicles to ZUPCO while some withheld their buses citing poor returns.
Vaya Africa is a Mauritius registered subsidiary of the Econet Group Limited mandated to move people and goods from one point to another.
