The Midlands State University (MSU) has pushed forward the registration deadline to 3 August.
In a notice to students dated 16 July 2021, MSU Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Dr Kudzaishe Mudzingwa, said students who fail to register on time will not be allowed to write the end of semester examinations. The notice read:
All students are advised that the registration period has been extended to Tuesday, 3 August 2021.
Registration is a pre-condition for attendance of face-to-face tuition and online learning in the Google Classroom.
Students who do not register in time to attend lectures and do coursework will be assumed to have deferred their studies and will not be allowed to write the end of semester examinations.
Students on Work-Related Learning are advised to register before the registration deadline.
Last month MSU was forced to suspend face to face lectures after scores of students at the Gweru Main Campus and Zvishavane Campus tested positive to COVID-19.
