Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, all owned by Mark Zuckerberg have crashed. The cause of the crush is not yet known.
All three platforms stopped working shortly before Noon U.S. Eastern on Monday. The company said in a tweet that it was working to get things back to normal.
All three platforms have been down for almost an hour, the longest outage in the history of Facebook. Facebook said in a tweet:
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Users took to other social media platforms including Twitter to express their frustration over the development that has “affected” many people.
