Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 15 March 2022:
- 456 New Cases (All local) and 1 Death were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 432 from 457 (yesterday). 97 of the new cases reported today are from outbreaks detected from schools in Mash West (61), Mash East (29), Masvingo (3), Manicaland (2) and Mash Cent. (2).
- Vaccination Update: 4 345 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 401 450, 2 840 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 431 275 while 3 700 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 165 108.
- As of 14 March 2022, 1500hrs there were (62) hospitalised cases: New Admissions (9), Asymptomatic (6), mild to moderate (49), severe (7) and (0) in Intensive Care Units.
- 4 493 tests done today (Positivity today was 10.1%)
- 362 new recoveries: National Recovery rate goes to 95% & Active cases go up 5 161.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 243 365 Cases 232 787 recoveries & 5 417 Deaths.
