According to data released by ZIMSTAT, the cost of living went up in March 2022 compared to where it was in February 2022. In a recent release, seen by Pindula News, ZIMSTAT said in March 2022, annual inflation was at 72.7 per cent from 66.1 per cent in February. However, monthly March inflation shed 0.7 percentage points to 6.3% (February: 7%) as there were limited pricing pressures in the food category.

The CPI for the month ending March 2022 stood at 4,766.10 compared to 4,483.06 in February 2022 and 2,759.83 in March 2021.
