Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) vice president, Lynette Karenyi-Kore, narrowly escaped death on Sunday after a car she was travelling in hit a cow on her way from Bikita South.
Karenyi-Kore revealed the development in a Twitter post on Sunday evening. She wrote:
Life is precious. Yesterday, I said I was fine. By the end of the day, I was in a car accident with a cow. Lord, my life is in your hands.
The CCC Masvingo Youth Assembly said the vehicle Karenyi-Kore was travelling in hit a beast to avoid a head-on collision. It said:
Our Change Champion Lynette Karenyi-Kore escaped death by a flicker today on her way from Bikita South where we had a robust program in the whole constituency yesterday.
The vehicle had to hit the beast to avoid a head-on. She is however safe. Glory be unto God.
