Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane who is leaving Egyptian giants Al Ahly, has been linked with a move to Al Sadd, a club in Qatar.
Reports say the Qatari record champions who appointed former Watford and Valencia coach Javi Garcia following Xavi’s departure, want to sign Mosimane’s services.
Mosimane had previously been linked with a move to Al-Rayyan SC, while South African broadcaster Maskepe Matsebane suggested there could be two offers from Qatar. In addition, Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr are apparently also interested in his services.
Given his record as a serial winner, Mosimane will surely not be short of options now that he’s a free agent.
Mosimane won five trophies since moving from Sundowns, but there’s been persistent criticism of the coach by some of the club legends and a growing section of the local fans and press.
