Antonio Gives Dynamos Another Dimension, Says Ndiraya
Dynamos have been boosted by the return of winger Bill Antonio after serving a two-match suspension.
Antonio had scored three goals and registered an assist in the first 17 matches of the season.
His coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, believes the 19-year-old’s return adds another dimension to DeMbare’s attack.
The Glamour Boys face Yadah in a Castle Lager Premiership football match at the National Sports Stadium this Saturday. Said Ndiraya:
Bill has been very key for us; he has been a very key member of the team. He has been involved in most of the goals that we’ve scored in the past 17 games so his coming back is a huge boost for the team.
It gives us another different dimension to our play so we are happy that he is back after serving a two-match suspension and hopefully he will pick up from where he left off.
He is a young boy and, in his first season, it’s unfortunate that he had to serve the suspension the way he did.
We have been working with him psychologically to make sure he was not damaged by what transpired.
Hopefully, he’s got a very strong mentality to pick himself up and continue to do what he was doing before he got suspended.
We believe in him and his abilities. Hopefully, he can come back and do what he does best.
He was looking sharp in training and hopefully if he carries that into the game then we know that we will be good to go as a team.
