Zimbabwe Transformative Party (ZTP) president, Parere Kunyenzura, has castigated the ruling ZANU PF party for asserting that no opposition party will rule Zimbabwe.
In May, Kunyenzura said neither President Emmerson Mnangagwa nor CCC leader Nelson Chamisa will win the 2023 presidential election.
In a statement, the self-proclaimed prophet reminded ZANU PF officials that they are mortals and should desist from making such statements.
Kunyenzura said Mnangagwa’s claim that a person walking from Zimbabwe to China will get there earlier than the opposition getting to State House is akin to the last Rhodesian Prime Minister Ian Smith’s infamous assertion that the then Southern Rhodesia would not attain majority rule in a thousand years.
