Taurai 'Gringaldinho' Son Of Late Gringo Launches Drama Series 'Chatikobo Comes To Town'
Taurai “Gringaldinho” Boora, the son of the late comic actor Lazarus Boora better known as Gringo, recently launched a drama series titled ‘‘Chatikobo Comes to Town.’’
In the drama series, Taurai featured seasoned actor, Blessing “Mbudziyadhura” Chimhohwa who acted with his father and Chati Butao.
Speaking to HMetro on the sidelines of the launch, Taurai said he was happy to work with Mbudziyadhura. He said:
I am so happy that Mbudziyadhura and Chati are part of the Pwaakaa journey and am learning a lot from them.
It is very hard to find people who are talented and dedicated.
With this new offering, we are upping our game as we want to give fans what will entertain them.
He also expressed gratitude for the support received from fans who turned out in large numbers when he “expected a few people to attend the event.”
Speaking about his acting journey, he said he started acting when he was in Grade Five as he drew inspiration from his late father Gringo.
Ba Shupi and Jonah Chivasa performed at the launch.
