Bryn Taurai Mteki Back On The Music Scene
2018 presidential candidate, Bryn Taurai Mteki, says he will release his 10th album this year.
The sculptor-cum-businessman, popularly known as Sekuru Tau, took a sabbatical from music because of his involvement in politics but he recently told The Standard that he is back in the showbiz arena and has lined a number of projects. He said:
Asekuru I would like to let you know that I am back on the music and I am working on a new album to be released soon.
FeedbackI have been rehearsing with my band for some time and everyone is rearing to go.
We are performing at Zim Café along Nkwame Nkhrumah every Wednesday.
Mteki is scheduled to perform at Spitzkop Leisure Centre, 100m off Bulawayo Road just after White House during the Heroes Day holiday.
He will then stage another show at Club Lakers (Pahuku) in Hillside on Friday and then at the Leisure Centre in Ruwa to wrap up his long weekend schedule.
Mteki rose to stardom following the release of the song “Norah”, a duet he did with the late ZANU PF commissar Elliot Manyika.
