ZANU PF provincial chairman for Bulawayo and former chairman of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWA) Jabulani Sibanda said the ruling party is full of corrupt people who should be expelled.
Speaking on the sideline of the commemoration of Heroes’ Day in Bulawayo on Monday, Sibanda also said ordinary people who fed freedom fighters during the war of independence were also part of the struggle. Said Sibanda:
We have people in the party who are not supposed to be in ZANU PF. Imbava (they are thieves), we are going to get rid of them.
When I went to war, my children were with me in my loins. To those who were cooking for the freedom fighters, they had also children in their loins and this means that those children were part of the struggle.
Zimbabwe held its 42nd Heroes Day Commemorations on Monday at the National Heroes Acre in Harare and in various other parts of the country.
