Four members of the same family died in a road accident that occurred on Friday 30 September 2022 in Norton.
A police statement seen by Pindula News says they died on the spot after a Land Rover Defender vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned before landing on its wheels. Reads the report:
The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 30/09/22 at around 1130 hours at the 7.5 km peg along Skyline Road, Norton. Four family members died on the spot when a Land Rover Defender vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned before landing on its wheels.
In another road traffic accident, three foreign nationals died when a Volvo XC90 vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road before landing in a ditch.
The accident also occurred on the 30th of September at around 1430 hours at the 170 km peg along Masvingo-Beitbridge Road.
The driver and one passenger died on the spot whilst the other passenger died upon admission at a local private hospital.
