Police Investigating Gokwe School Head For Sexually Abusing Learners

Murwira Primary School headmaster, only identified as Mr Mugonesi is under investigation by the police for sexual abuse of pupils after images of him squeezing their private parts leaked online.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson in Midlands Province Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the development. He said:

I can confirm that we have received the case and investigations into the matter are currently underway.

Reports claim that the school recorded a 0% pass rate in the 2022 Grade Seven Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) examinations.

One of the parents who commented in a WhatsApp group alleged that the school head was getting intimate with schoolchildren. Said the parent:

We are calling on organisations to do with girl child rights and protection to intervene.

This old man has been molesting kids and getting intimate with them. Let us make noise and help these vulnerable girls.

People stop pre commenting on things that you do not know. When I saw the pics I thought the girl in those pics us not that young and be careful on repeating the same mistake if the Bulawayo pregnant 9 year old when the police arrested the father and yet he was innocent . Let the police so their job first cos we are seeing most cases are just people out for revenge
