PICTURES: Triple Murder Suspect Jaison Muvevi Brought To Court. Complains Of Ill-Treatment

Jaison Muvevi, the triple murder suspect appeared at the Harare Magistrates court today to face trial.
The alleged murderer complained to the magistrate that he has been denied sleep by the ZRP officers. He also requested a lawyer, reported ZimLive.
“They added extra handcuffs and hung me from a bar (with the handcuffs)”
Muvevi was arrested in Mozambique on Monday, 16 January after being on the run for 3 days. He is alleged to have murdered 3 people in Wedza on Friday 13 January 2023, one of them a ZRP Officer in Charge for Wedza, Inspector Maxwell Hove.
He shot Hove during a shootout with the police after the officers responded to a murder he was accused of. Muvevi is himself a former ZRP officer but was now a gold dealer.
Ill-treatment and torture of suspects are against the law in Zimbabwe.

Witnesses jahwi kumasowe who will testify against this mad murderer. Crying over extra handcuffs and failing to sleep. This guy is peanuts. Instead of killing the prophet he should just have left the prophecy there at the shrine since it is him who went there looking for "sleeping dogs". Who knows what else he's been doing before visiting the shrine. Prob5he had killed someone so he was looking for cleansing from the prophet.

He is still innocent until proven guilty, hafanirwe kurohwa mutemo unoti akarwadziwa anogona kubvuma mhoswa yasina kuita.Even if he is guilty kurova its not punishment yacho .But ndowona sokuti anenge akurasika njere hake.

I wonder why pple shld complain that Muvhevhi was complaining about ill-treatment by the police. One thing for certain that all those that were complaining shld know is that ... He the accused and the complaints are equal b4 the law and the accused ( Muvhevhi) has his rights to fair treatment by the police as to what our Constitution entails. For now the accused remains "INNOCENT" until the courts proves so. Kwete imiwo from the streets to give judgment.

I think this guy needs hanging. Being manhandled is much better than killing. it's high time the hangman post be filled and Jaison becomes the first assignment.
