A restructuring committee was appointed by the Gerald Mlotshwa-led SRC was appointed to oversee the process of restoring sanity to Zimbabwean football.
Kamambo was recalled at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on April 23 and replaced by Gift Banda on an interim basis.
