OpenMvuma Drug Dealer Jailed 12 Months
A 28-year-old man from Mvuma has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for illegal drug-related offences.
Police said Innocent Jaison Chida (28) of G6 72 Athens Mine in Mvuma was found in possession of marijuana, Crystal Meth, empty bottles of broncleer, and a digital scale used for weighing drugs.
In a statement, police expressed gratitude to members of the public who provided information that led to Chida’s arrest. Police said:

Following a tip-off, Police in Midlands arrested Innocent Jaison Chida (28) of G6 72 Athens Mine, Mvuma on 08/02/23.
The suspect was found in possession of 582g of dagga, 26 sachets of Crystal Meth weighing 1.52g, 4 x 100m empty bottles of broncleer, 22 empty sachets of Crystal Meth and a digital scale used for weighing drugs.
Innocent Jaison Chida has since appeared in Court and was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
