The Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) of Zimbabwe led by Reverend Cossam Chiangwa has sent a solidarity message to the president of AFM Malawi following the death of hundreds of people in the wake of Cyclone Freddy. In a statement seen by Pindula News, Chiangwa said he was saddened to hear about the loss of life. Reads the statement:
A SOLIDARITY MESSAGE TO THE PRESIDENT OF AFM MALAWI AND THE PEOPLE OF MALAWI DURING THE DISASTROUS EFFECTS AND AFTER EFFECTS OF CYCLONE FREDDY.

IT IS WITH SUCH A HEAVY HEARTBREAK THAT WE LEARN OF THE DISASTER IN YOUR COUNTRY AFFECTING THOUSANDS OF MALAWIANS. WE ARE SADDENNED TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF LIFE, DISPLACEMENT OF PEOPLE, DESTRUCTION OF HOMES, BUSINESSES AND LIVELIHOODS.
ON BEHALF OF THE APOSTOLIC FAITH MISSION OF ZIMBABWE CHURCH, I AM SENDING OUR CONDOLENCES TO YOURSELVES AS THE LEADER OF THE CHURCH OF GOD, TO RELATIVES, FRIENDS AND TO ALL MALAWIANS FOR THE UNFORTUNATE LOSS OF SOULS THAT WERE IN INNUMERABLE WAYS PILLARS TO THE NATION OF MALAWI.
