Jordan Zemura Set To Leave Bournemouth | Report

England-born Zimbabwean footballer Jordan Zemura has reportedly held talks with several European clubs after he fell out of favour at English Premier League club Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old defender rejected a reported £25 000 per week, with his current contract set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season.

United Kingdom sports website, Talksport, reported that Zemura has held talks with teams from outside England. It said:

Contract rebel Jordan Zemura appears to have played his last Bournemouth game.

Academy graduate Zemura has been left out of the squad for the Cherries’ past two matches after failing to respond to the offer of a new deal.

The left-back will be a free agent at the end of the season and it is believed he has already held talks with overseas clubs.

Londoner Zemura (23), has made 19 Premier League appearances this season.

Spotrac, which is the largest sports system for team payrolls, last year reported that Zemura was one of the lowest-paid in the English Premier League on a weekly wage of just £385.

Jordan Zemura has made 61 senior appearances for Cherries to date and joined from Charlton Athletic in 2019.

Bournemouth are fighting for survival in the English Premier League and currently sit in the relegations zone (18th), with 27 points from 29 games.
