The results of the ZANU PF primary election reruns will be announced on Monday, 17 April, the party’s Political Commissar Mike Bimha, has said.
ZANU PF held elections on Saturday in Mbare, Churu, Gokwe-Nembudziya, and Zvimba West constituencies.
The poll rerun for the Insiza South constituency has been scheduled for 22 April.
The Sunday Mail reported that voting went on without incident at polling stations in Mbare and Churu constituencies.
Bimha said voting went on smoothly in all constituencies, saying there were no complaints of malpractices reported by the close of polls. He said:
Everything went on very well at most polling stations.
Vote counting had already started by late afternoon and everything went according to plan.
The results will be announced on Monday.
As of now (yesterday), we have not received any complaints from any polling station.
