Prophet Mohammed had 3 wives - all were Arabs not Roman. His first wife, the mother of Fatima, was an Arabian widow & mechant before she proposed marriage to the Prophet. While I personally hate the death of innocent citizens, I want to deeply congratulate Palestine for successfully launching a surprise attack on Israel.
