Welshman Ncube Takes Subtle Dig At Chamisa, Says He Won't Run Away From Tshabangu

CCC’s acting president Welshman Ncube has taken a subtle dig at the party’s former leader Nelson Chamisa saying he will not run away from the challenges facing the party.
Chamisa unexpectedly left CCC on 25 February this year, saying the party had been infiltrated and hijacked by ZANU PF using its agents.
Chamisa’s decision to quit CCC came after State institutions such as Parliament, the courts and the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) enabled Tshabangu to field double candidates during elections and by-elections and also to recall the party’s representatives in defiance of Chamisa.
Speaking to CITE, Ncube said he will not run away from the challenges currently bedevilling the opposition but will face them head-on. He said:
The Tshabangu issue is not in the past. The fact that you have pending court cases is not in the past. All of these things are current, and we have a mandate to address them.
We are not going to run away from these challenges. We are going to confront them head-on. It is our job as politicians to solve problems, to confront problems, and we hope that we will succeed.
Ncube acknowledged that the party is grappling with factionalism which has to be tackled. He said.
There are fundamental differences in the party. There are differences in respect, out of which we no longer had a forum to address because we had suspended the meetings of the organs of the party as we knew them.
We had suspended meetings of the standing committee and the national council. The national council last met on the 22nd of January 2022.
We should not gloat over some of these differences if we are being honest and not deceitful politicians.
These differences do arrive in life and politics; they are genuine political and ideological differences.
Ncube also denied allegations that he was Tshabangu’s handler and responsible for the recalls of the party’s Members of Parliament and Councillors in 2022.
There were claims that Ncube and Tendai Biti were behind Tshabangu in a bid to push party leader Nelson Chamisa to resign.

CCC was infiltrated internally by the likes of Ncube and Biti which wanted power. it was infiltrated externally by agents of ZANU- Tshabangu, assisted by a bent Speaker of Parliament, a captured judiciary and a pliant government.

Professor Ncube is talking about now. Chamisa is looking far ahead, 2028. At the moment Tshabangu, Biti and Ncube won. They must enjoy the current 5 year Parliamentary term. Noone shall vote for Tshabangu, Biti or Ncube in 2028. It will be blue versus ZANU PF. ZImbabweans are more cleverer than you thought they are. Noone is presidential material in your team !!!!!

People don't become sellouts because they have disagreed on ideology and procedures. In politics, differences are healthy because this is what brings the best out of everyone. Democracy should bring together different ideas, put them on the table and after long deliberations adopt the best ideas.
Problem with Zim political leaders is the believe they have the best ideas and everyone else must follow without questioning. This is the big personality syndrome that has killed Zimbabwe, we turn political leaders into gods.
If it's true that the leadership past met in Feb 22, it clearly shows leadership failures

Correction.
There is no CCC Mkwananzi. He just made a faux pas. He is under the legitimate CCC under Jameson Timba.
Welshman Ncube is Co-president of of Tshabangu's Fraction (from which Tshabangu has written himself from power) His post of Secretary General (disputed) reverts to Charlton Hwende (who I still have to see if he accepts)
So in essence there are two CCCs, the Tshabangu Fraction now headed by Ncube and the other headed by Jameson Timba.
