To those who don't know,zimSAS is not officially recognized by the Official SAS regiment in Britain.Zimbabwe is not even a member of the Commonwealth of nations.Zimbabwe doesn't even have military relations with Britain.The only SASs which are recognized worldwide are in Australia and New Zealand.Its an insult  to the British Government to have an SAS unit in a country which has a bad record of democracy and governancy.Many of these Zim SAS soldiers end up becoming rouge clandestines who terrorize the opposition and human rights activists.In addition,their former army commanders benefitted from the Land reform program and many were on the sunctions list.Furthermore,These former Rhodesian British special forces units where disbanded a long time ago, because after independence they no longer shared the cultural ties with Great Britain.It is important to note that,real SAS units needs to regularly conduct cross training with the original 22SAS in Britain,. Furthermore,All the SAS units in Australia ,UK ,NZ participated in IRAQ, Afghanistan,Syria and Somalia sometimes bled together in jointmissions.InZimbabwe, it's not possible because after the 2000s Land reform program those training programs were stopped,they basically disowned Zim SAS.Soon after the Congo war,Zimbabwe became an enemy of Britain.Tampaoga jingle would echo on the radio singing the famous song the "Blair that I know is a toilet "an insult to the British Government. Diaz Matangira, 30, son of Remigious Toendepi Matangira, the MP for Bindura South (ZANU PF), was arrested on Monday after allegedly pointing a firearm at an off-duty soldier during a road rage incident in Harare.
As reported by <a href="https://www.zimlive.com/zanu-pf-mps-son-held-after-pointing-gun-at-sas-soldier-in-road-rage-incident/">ZimLive</a>, the incident occurred around 11 AM on Nemakonde Way (formerly Lomagundi Road).
Matangira, driving his father’s grey Ford Ranger Raptor, was reportedly speeding when he encountered a slow-moving Toyota Vitz driven by Arnold Musengi, a soldier from the Special Air Services (SAS) based at Inkomo Barracks.
Frustrated by the Vitz’s pace, Matangira repeatedly honked his horn and made aggressive manoeuvres.
Upon overtaking the Vitz, he allegedly pointed a gun, registered to his father, at Musengi.
Musengi pursued Matangira and, with the assistance of other motorists, managed to force him to stop.
Matangira was subsequently arrested by Avondale Police and is expected to appear in court soon.
