Alexander Johnson
Alexander Johnson was a Zimbabwean business executive and CEO of Steelmakers Zimbabwe. He was said to have been a close associate of Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Career
Johnson started his career as quality controller in the R&D Dept. in steel manufacturing company in the year 1972 in india. He joined Steelmakers as General Manager in 1996, overseeing the inception of Steelmakers Zimbabwe. He was appointed Group General Manager in charge of projects in Southern Africa in 2001. Johnson oversaw business development projects in Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
At different points in his career he was President and also Vice President of the Midlands Chamber of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries.

Death
On 18 May 2016, Johnson together with his wife Achamma Joy, died in a car accident when the car they were travelling in had a head-on collision with another car. [1]
