Bruce Kangwa is a Zimbabwean footballer. He is a former Highlanders Football Club player.
Background
Bruce Kangwa was born on 24 February 1988. He married Amanda Whitney Moyo in January 2014.[1] The two have a son, Jayden who was born in Canada on 25 February 2015.[2]
Education
Kangwa attended Masuku Primary School before attending Nkulumane High School.[3]
Career
Kangwa started his professional career at Railstars Football Club before Madinda Ndlovu brought him over to Highlanders Football Club.
In 2016, he joined Azam Football Club of Tanzania from Highlanders after writing off US$12 000 owed to him by the club which was struggling financially then.
At Azam, Kangwa won all the silverware in Tanzania except the championship.
The left-back was named the club’s captain in 2020.
He also played in both the African Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.
Kangwa was released by Azam in June 2023 following the end of his contract.[4]

Controversy
In May 2013, Kangwa was in the papers for allegedly being in a love triangle with fellow Highlanders Football Club teammate Knox Mutizwa and a woman named Priscilla Ncube.[6] Priscilla, however, denied dating Knox although she confirmed her relationship with Bruce Kangwa.
