Darlick Marandure is a Zimbabwean who has close to two decades of experience in overseeing IT implementations and transformations in the US[1]. He is the Group Chief Technology Officer at Zimpapers.
Background
Marandure is married to Busi Marundure. They were married on the 4th of July 2002.[2]
Education
Marandure holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe ,he graduated in 1993. He has an MBA, Master’s in Business Administration from Howard University in Washington DC, United States. He graduated in 1998. He also holds a Master’s in Information Systems Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University in the USA where he graduated in 2010.[1]
Darlick Marandure is ITIL certified and is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).[1]
Work Experience
Marandure started out as a management trainee at Zimbank. Upon completion of this programme, he went to the United States. In the US he spent 12 years working in the IT department of Mars Information Services. He has also held several roles in finance with organisations such as IBM in North Carolina, Pfizer and Schering Plough in New Jersey, USA. [1]
In April 2013 Marandure was appointed the chief technology officer of Zimbabwe Newspapers Group (Zimpapers).[1]After Samuel Bepe retired as the Zimpapers General Manager in February 2017, Marandure become the acting general manager in his place. [3]
