Edwin Masimba Moyo is an entrepreneur, founder and owner of Rolex Fresh Exports, an agri-food company involved in growing, processing, handling, logistics and marketing of fruits and vegetables to supermarkets in the UK (Tesco, Asda, Marks and Spencer's) and to South African supermarket chains.
Background
Previously, Edwin was a co-promoter of a Swiss Fund-Sam Sustainability Asset Management Fund later known as the Dow Jones-Sam, Sustainable Index Fund and recent co-founder of the Alternative Investment Africa Fund whose purpose is to fund small-scale agriculture value chains.
He is also the former owner of Kondozi Fresh Produce, a horticulture farming business which he lost to the land reform program in 2004.
Trivia
He has given a vivid description of the day when Kondozi Farm was pillaged by invaders in his book 'My Kondozi Story — The People’s Hope Pillaged'.
