Gerald Phiri is a Malawian footballer who was born on 8 June 1993 and currently plays in the ABSA Premier Soccer League for Baroka Football Club. He is a former player for Caps United Football Club as a midfielder.
Football Career
Phiri played for Mighty Wanderers in Malawi from 2011 to 2012 before signing for CAPS United Football Club in 2013. In 2015 he left CAPS United for Bidvest of South Africa for a new challenge but he found himself being loaned to other teams within the ABSA Premiership or other regional teams. He later signed for Ajax Cape Town.
International Career
Phiri has 28 caps for the Flames of Malawi and managed to score 7 goals in those games from 2015 up to date.
