Gift “Ghetto, Muduso” Mpariwa was a legend of the game, the nickname “Muduso” came from his football approach. So frequent was Ghetto's scoring that people nicknamed him Muduso which was slang for money. It seemed as if every game was a money game to Gift because he played like today was like a payday hence his zeal for scoring.
Background
Gift was born and raised in Zimbabwe. He joined the league playing for Dynamos in the 80s.[1]
Career
Gift joined Dynamos in the 80s and is part of the team that contributed to Dynamos dominating the league for a good 7 years. Ghetto was a fine scorer a talent which earned him a nickname Muduso which means money.
