Jabula New Life Covenant Church was founded in the late 1970s by missionaries from the United States of America and was then known as New Life Temple. The church is headed by Tudor Bismark who took over leadership in 1984 as a 'Senior Pastor'.
Background
In the late 70s, missionaries came to what was then Salisbury in Rhodesia and founded New Life Temple. In November 1980, Tudor Bismark was ordained as a minister. Bishop Tudor Bismark became the Senior Pastor of New Life Temple in 1984 and has been the Senior Pastor ever since.
In 1997, New Life Temple changed its name to New Life Covenant Church. Tudor Bismark, who now holds the position of Bishop and his wife, Chichi Bismark, are now credited as co-founders of Jabula New Life Covenant Church.
