Pastor Josh Kays (real name Josh Kawara) is a Zimbabwean gospel artist and church pastor. He came to prominence with his 2013 song Jesu Ari Pano which won Best song of the year at Permican Awards 2016. He leads a 25-member group called Impact Africa.[1]

He's a pastor at his church Global Word Ministries. He is based in Highfield.

Background

At school Kays used to be a cheerleader at football matches. Kays started his music career in Chinhoyi in the early 00s. Kays gave his life to Jesus in 1999 at Zoe Life Changing and Grace Unlimited Ministries where he was mentored by Apostles Langton and Florence Kanyati.

In his career so far, he has worked with other gospel musicians such as Kudzi Nyakudya and Samson Kingsan Nhubu.
