Kidwelll Mujuru
Kidwell Mujuru is the Zanu-PF candidate to win a local government election in Bulawayo since the turn of the millennium.[1]
Background
Kidwell Mujuru is a Zanu Pf supporter based in Bulawayo. On March 30 Mujuru was voted ward 28 councillor in Bulawayo, after polling 1899 votes against his nearest rival of the MDC Alliance, Nomagugu Mloyi who got 1229 votes.[2] Mujuru replaced Hapson Ncube who passed on.
Absent Councillor Allegations
On 12 July 2019, resident in Mujuru's ward complained that since he was sworn into office in May, he was absent and didn't communicate or engage with them. [3]
