Laughter Chilembe is a former Zambian international footballer who played for CAPS United Football Club from 2004 to 2005 in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League as a defender.

Laughter Chilembe was born on 25 November 1975 in Zambia.
Career
Chilembe began his senior career in 1998 with Nchanga Rangers before signing for Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League club CAPS United Football Club in 2004. A solid defender and a dead ball specialist of repute in his prime, Chilembe took over the captain’s armband after David Sengu had deserted the team during a tour of the United Kingdom in September 2005. On Chilembe's return to Zambia, he re-signed for Nchanga Rangers in 2006. Chilembe later signed for Power Dynamos, staying at the club for three seasons. In 2012, Chilembe signed for NAPSA Stars, seeing out his career at the club in 2016.
International Career
Chilembe was part of the Zambian 2000 African Nations Cup team, who finished third in group C in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals. He was part of the Chipolopolo team from 1999 to 2005 earning 43 caps in the process and scoring two goals.
Coaching Career
Chilembe has been giving back to the game in Zambia as head coach of Chingolo District Youth Academy.[1]
