The MDC-T Constitution is the supreme set of principles, rules and procedures governing the structure and processes of the Movement for Democratic Change party.

Background

The constitution was approved by the inaugural Congress of the MDC held at Chitungwiza in January 2000. It was amended and adopted at the Second Congress at the City Sports Centre-Harare on 8 March 2006. It was amended for the second time and adopted at the Third Congress at Barbourfields Stadium, Bulawayo on 30 April 2011. The latest version of the constitution was amended and adopted at the Fourth Congress of the Party at the City Sports Centre Harare held from 31 October to 01 November 2014.
