Mfundo Mlilo is a human rights activist and current director of the Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA).
2 Percent Tax case
In October 2018, following the introduction of the 2 Percent Tax Mfundo Mlilo took Minister Mthhuli Ncube to the High Court arguing that the tax was not legal. He was represented by renowned lawyer and politician Tendai Biti.
In September 2019, High Court Judge Justice Zhou has set aside SI 205/2018 on the 2% transaction tax.
