Powerspeed Electrical is a public company listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE). Its Directors comprises two executive directors and three non-executive directors.
History
The company has a long, robust history, which began in the 1970’s as part of a diversified group known as Mashonaland Holdings. With the unbundling of Mashonaland Holdings in 1997, Powerspeed was formed with the integration of the private company Industrial Electric Holdings and all the electrical divisions of Mashonaland Holdings. Over the years we have developed our core business activity into a hardware retail chain commonly known as Electrosales Hardware. Powerspeed completes its unification by also supplying bulk traders through Industrial Electric. However, this name is about to change and will be known as Electrosales Trade Centre. Although the nature of our company has changed, we’ve always retained our foundation of strength, innovation and perseverance.

Main Business Activity – Hardware Retail Chain. Electrosales is the pre-eminent hardware provider and operates 16 stores countrywide.
Power Speed Engineering
Main Business Activity – Electric Motor rewinding, fan manufacturing and electrical systems manufacturing. Formally as known as Airflow, Relmo and ELS, these companies have been condensed to become Powerspeed engineering responsible for:-The manufacturing and installing all sizes of fans and ducting for commercial and industrial applications. Fabrication of non-standard steel products and structures. The repairs & modification of all makes and sizes of electric motors to suit the customer’s specific applications.The manufacture and assembly of commercial and industrial light fittings, heating elements, distribution boards as well as the manufacture of domestic irons
