Job Description
Zimbabwe United Passenger Company is seeking to fill the above senior executive management position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the Company's statutory books, registers, returns with the Registrar of Companies and secretarial records and custody of the Company's common seat.
- Be a member of one of a number of recognised accountancy or secretarial bodies;for at least three or five years preceding the appointment.
- Be able to execute taxation duties by advising the company to prepare and review various returns and reports required for compliance with tax regulations,
- Co-odinate corporate communications with Shareholder, Stakeholders, Government and Other Regulators.
- Be knowledgeable of business process flow systems,
- Develop Management Reports and Controls Analysis of Capital Investment Proposals and advise the Board,
- Ensures induction of new Board members following notification of their appointment.
- Provides secretarial service to the Board and Company's Executive Management.
- Advising the Board and the Executive team on corporate governance matters.
- Monitoring regulatory environment and ensure compliance on the company statutory requirements.
- In addition to the above , the ideal candidate will among other duties and responsibilities be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer, be responsible for statutory returns, shareholders meetings and other additional duties and responsibilities arising from his or her employment contract company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full CIS, LLB and /or any other relevant degree qualifications.
- A proven track record.
- A relevant Post Graduate Degree Qualification will be an added advantage
- 5 years relevant experience in a senior management position(s).
