Cyber Security Analyst: ICT Section (Grade 10)

Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above mentioned position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs and operates firewalls, encryption programs, configure routers and security software.
  • Monitors incoming and outgoing traffic for security incidents and events.
  • Tests system for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Promotes a culture of strong Information Security.
  • Documents security breaches and assesses the damage they may cause.
  • DConfigures VPNs and API.
  • Drafts security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conducts Cyber threats awareness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A clean class 4 drivers’ licence.
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar work environment.
