Standard Chartered Bank Is Looking For A Network Analyst.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform design, implementing, and troubleshooting of the Bank enterprise LAN / WAN / MAN networks.
- To provide a continuous and proactive network monitoring and controlling the network response, throughput, and availability to ensure that the SLA with the Bank Business are enforced.
- To ensure processes, guidelines and procedures are in place and enforced for quality in installation, running, operating and support of the Bank networks.
- To assist in new implementations or upgrades to existing systems, including project management, project tracking and project status reporting.
- To co-ordinate and hand over of support of new networks infrastructure to the production support teams. Provide internal training if necessary.
- To maintain an expert knowledge within the team of technology and industry trends in relation to business requirements, and the direction of the Group.
- To ensure that existing and new systems conform to Bank networking standards.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering - Computer Science / Electronic and Communications / 3 year's of Bachelor's in Computer Science.
- 3 years hands on experience with internetworking protocols, including routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP) and routed (TCP / IP, IPX / SPX) protocols.
- 3 years hands on experience with various telecommunications networks such as leased line / frame relay / ISDN / X.25 / ATM / Satellite, and optional emerging technologies such as xDSL/Wireless.
- Experienced with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.
- Vendors certifications (e.g. CCNA / CCNP.
