Businessman and socialite <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Mike_Chimombe?utm_source=PindulaArticle&amp;utm_campaign=PindulaArticle">Mike Chimombe</a> has reportedly impregnated his wife’s younger sister, Panashe Rusero.
The matter came to light when Panashe hosted a baby shower. After the event, cosy pictures of Chimombe and Panashe at the baby shower started circulating on social media.
H-Metro reported a source close to the family as saying when Panashe was in Form 5, she would from time to time go to stay at her elder sister’s house. Said the source:

Mike started living with Mitchell (his wife) when Panashe was still in Form 2-3, that is in 2009-2010, so when she was now in Lower 6 Panashe would go stay at her elder sister’s house.
So when she was now staying with them, Mike would go to clubs at night with Panashe and at that time we started noticing that something was happening between the two of them.
Mike would take her to Pablos and Motor Action at that time so we found it very odd.
There is this one particular incident whereby Mike came back from the club with Panashe at around 5 am and Mike’s in-laws convened a family meeting in regards to the issue that he was dating his wife’s sister but both Panashe and Chimombe denied the allegations.

The sources claimed that the Affirmative Action Group (AAG) president once attempted to marry Panashe but the uncle he approached would not have it and he was chased away.
When reached for comment by H-Metro, Chimombe said that it was none of the press’ business as it was his personal life. He said:
<blockquote>
Why are you calling me, whatever happens in my personal life does not have anything to do with you.
Zvinei newe (what has that to do with you?) this is my personal life and I am inclined to do what I want.
</blockquote>
Mitchell, Chimombe’s wife could neither deny nor confirm the story and directed H-Metro to speak to Panashe and Mike.
Panashe reportedly spent the whole day cutting calls whenever the publication tried to call her for comment.

Businessman And Socialite Mike Chimombe Impregnates Wife's Sister

The Affirmative Action Group (AAG) has distanced itself from recent remarks made by controversial preacher, Passion Java.
Java, last week, endorsed Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs minister Mary Mliswa-Chikoka as his choice for the ZANU PF Mashonaland West provincial chairperson post.
The post became vacant last month after the incumbent, Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi, was promoted to be a member of the powerful Politburo.
Java has in recent months been hobnobbing with senior ZANU PF officials, including President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
However, his endorsement of Mliswa-Chikoka has not been well received by the AGG where Java is also its vice president.
The economic empowerment lobby group’s president, Mike Chimombe, last week distanced the AAG from Java’s comments, saying the self-styled prophet was speaking in his personal capacity. Said Chimombe:
<blockquote>The comments that were made by Vice President Passion Java were in his personal opinions and do not represent AAG.
It is, therefore, futile to try and malign the reputation of the AAG leadership and what it stands for by associating the organisation with the remarks made by Vice President Java in his personal capacity.</blockquote>
Java’s rise in the AAG has reportedly ignited deep divisions among board members.
At the weekend, another controversial businessman with strong ZANU PF links, Delish Nguwaya, who was the AAG consulting advisor responsible for security, resigned from the organisation.
Nguwaya accused Java of unprofessionalism as shown by his interference in ZANU PF factional fights.
Java has since been summoned by the AAG leadership to make a retraction and align his utterances to himself.
Chimombe insisted the AAG is not in the business of endorsing or campaigning for political candidates.

Chimombe Distances AAG From Passion Java Remarks

Delish Nguwaya has been appointed Affirmative Action Group (AAG) consulting advisor responsible for security.
The appointment was made by AAG founding president Phillip Chiyangwa and is with immediate effect. Chiyangwa said in a statement Thursday:
<blockquote>I hereby appoint you as the AAG national executive council member responsible for security with immediate effect, to serve from May 2021-2025.</blockquote>
Nguwaya’s mandate is to advocate for and defend, the rights of the majority against market forces in light of the weaknesses in the public social support systems. Said Chiyangwa:
<blockquote>… Thus (he) will actively defend the right of all disadvantaged persons or groups unfair and unjust treatment at the bends of institutions that draw their strength or profit from the operation of democratic and popular based governance in Zimbabwe.</blockquote>
Nguwaya is the local representative of Drax International, which supplies various products including medical drugs.
The controversial businessman was arrested in June last year after he allegedly misled the government into believing that his company Drax International was a medical firm and could supply COVID-19 equipment to the Health ministry.
He was, however, removed from remand in December by Harare magistrate Ngoni Nduna.
In his ruling, Nduna pointed out the fact that Nguwaya had been remanded 10 times without trial. The State was seeking another postponement.

Controversial pastor and socialite Passion Java has been appointed vice president of the Affirmative Action Group of Zimbabwe (AAG). The president is Mike Chimombe.
Moses Mpofu and Terrance Mautsi are Advisors to President, while Anastasia Ndhlovu, Munyaradzi Kashambe and Mabuto Moyo are the other vice presidents.
Cliffoed Hlupeko is the new Secretary-general, Ali Goldstein is the Spokesperson, Gerald Scott Sakupwanya is the Treasurer, and Tafadzwa Masuku is the Legal advisor.
The AAG was formed by young black businessmen, among them Peter Pamire and Phillip Chiyangwa in 1994.

Commenting on the new AAG board, Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa (Independent) some of the members may tarnish the image of the organisation. He tweeted:
<blockquote>Looking at the new board appointments of the #AAG whilst some are expected, yet others raise question due to their unsavoury personal reputations which have the propensity to tarnish such organisations. The perception becomes that they are just out to grab money from people.
The Affirmative Action Group should be selective about who it appoints. With so many extortionist organisations around, we can’t afford to suffer more.
I’m also interested in understanding their current purpose. When it was formed, there was a need to empower blacks; that has passed.
So what is it they are really after now? We need to understand. People shouldn’t fear those with a claim to AAG membership to give them money. An institution grows, and it grows beyond an individual.</blockquote>

Passion Java Named AAG Vice President

Politician and businessman Keith Guzha has died, The Herald reports. His death was confirmed by Zvimba legislator Philip Chiyangwa who said;
<blockquote>
I can confirm that Cde Guzah has passed on at his home after a short illness as there are no prior conditions that I am aware of.
</blockquote>
Guzha was once a Member of Parliament for Hurungwe West Constituency as well as the acting Mashonaland West provincial chairman. He is also a former President of the <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Affirmative_Action_Group" title="Affirmative Action Group">Affirmative Action Group</a> (AAG).

Business advocacy group the <a href="http://www.pindula.co.zw/Affirmative_Action_Group">Affirmative Action Group (AAG)</a> have written to Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing Minister <a href="http://www.pindula.co.zw/Saviour_Kasukuwere" target="_blank">Saviour Kasukuwere</a> urging him not to let the Bulawayo City Council investigate the collapse of a Nandos restaurant last week. Three people were injured while one died when the building collapsed and the AAG are afraid that the city council may cover up the real cause of the collapse as it may be partly responsible.
In fact, the AAG have the Minister 14 days to set up a commission of inquiry to investigate Simbisa Brands, the holding company of Nandos, due to the fact that another this is the second building to collapse which houses a Simbisa Brands restaurant. A Chicken Inn also collapsed in December 2015.
Part of the AAG’s letter reads
<blockquote>We have noted with concern the Nando’s incident that has claimed a life and we have strong convictions to believe it is a case of reckless capitalism where companies, professionals and officials cut corners to increase profits. May it be noted that the accident that occurred at a Nando’s Restaurant in Bulawayo was not the first of its kind with another Simbisa building caving in not so long ago. This is too much of a coincidence hence, placing doubt on the integrity of the company, construction engineers and the local inspecting authority.
We have reason to believe letting the local authority probe the circumstances leading to the accident will be counterproductive as they may be in a bid to cover their incompetence. We therefore, kindly request that your organisation launch an inquiry into the structural competences of all Simbisa buildings including the recently caved in Nando’s Bulawayo</blockquote>
