<a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba">Lumumba William Gerald Mutumanje</a> also known as <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba">Acie Lumumba</a> has written an “apology to Zweli Lunga,” the lawyer he accused of having an affair with his wife. In a statement seen by Pindula News, Lumumba said he is willing to retract any statements that may have caused Lunga harm. Reads the statement:
An apology to Zweli Lunga
Dear all,
I come to you today with a heavy heart, seeking to clear the air and set the record straight on recent events that have unfolded in my personal life. In particular, I want to address the recent accusations of defamation made against me by apparently “prominent” Harare corporate lawyer and businessman, Zweli Lunga.
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere apologies to Mr. Lunga for any statements or actions that may have caused him or his family any distress or harm. I have known him for over a decade as a man who uncommonly loves women, money &amp; motorbikes but that is merely an opinion which may be wrong. While I stand by my statements that my ex-wife Lilian Madyara told me she was involved in an affair with Mr. Lunga, I appreciate she is untruthful with words and will say anything to manipulate a position of advantage, I acknowledge that any further public discussion of their relationship is not helpful nor relevant to the matter at hand.
The only issue that matters to me is the welfare and custody of my son, Treasure Kupakwashe. I want to emphasize that my love for my son is unwavering and has never been in question. Since the day he was born, I have been there for him every step of the way. I have bathed and fed him, taken him to school, and provided him with everything he needs to have a normal and fulfilling childhood. I have even gone to great lengths to ensure that he receives the best possible medical treatment for his chronic condition and he has never lacked that.
However, despite my best efforts, I have not seen or heard from my son in over 100 days. My ex-wife has changed her phone number, and I do not even know where my son is currently living since Zweli &amp; her did business with the house I bought him. This is not only heartbreaking but also unacceptable. As a father, I have the right to be a part of my son’s life, and I implore anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward and assist me in reestablishing contact with him.
I understand that Mr. Lunga has taken legal action against me for alleged defamation, and while I believe that my statements were truthful, I am willing to retract any statements that may have caused him harm. I want to stress that this matter is not about Mr. Lunga, nor is it about any other “lovers/lawyers/clients/sponsors” of my ex-wife. It is about the rights of a father to be a part of his son’s life.
In conclusion, I appeal to Mr. Lunga to put aside any personal grievances and join me in finding a peaceful resolution to this matter. I ask him to share any information he may have about my son’s whereabouts and to communicate to my ex-wife the importance of a father’s role in a child’s life. Let us put the needs of my son first and work together to ensure that he has the love and support of both his parents.

Acie Lumumba Writes "Apology To Zweli Lunga"

Harare lawyer Zweli Lunga has demanded that <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba">Acie Lumumba</a> retracts and deletes a Facebook post in which he claimed the legal practitioner had a love relationship with his wife leading to the couple’s breakup reported <a href="https://www.zimlive.com/adultory-storm-lawyer-turns-up-heat-on-lumumba-demands-retraction/">ZimLive</a>.
Lumumba, whose real name is Gerald Mutumanje, on Monday this week claimed Lunga colluded with his wife, Lilian Madyara to defraud him of US$200 000 from the sale of matrimonial property.
In the Facebook post, Lumumba said his wife confessed she was having an affair with Zweli Lunga.
He also alleged that the lawyer and his estranged wife were “using all influence to restrict me from access to my son”.
Lunga has responded by demanding a retraction of the accusations and threatened to take legal action against Lumumba. Lunga wrote through his lawyers:

A simple verification with our client would have cleared all the issues that you rushed to publish,” Lunga wrote through his lawyers.
If you had verified with him you would have shelved posting such malicious and defamatory statements simply meant to destroy the goodwill and the reputation our client has built for himself.
It is not factually correct, that our client is your wife’s lover nor is it factually correct that he duped your wife of the purchase price of her house under the guise of investment.
Our client is happily married to one wife, he does not indulge in extramarital affairs with other ladies nor does he indulge in extramarital affairs with his clients let alone with married women.

Lunga’s lawyers also warned Lumumba that their client would file a criminal complaint of cyberbullying and harassment coupled also institute civil proceedings if he doesn’t retract. They wrote:

… our strict instructions are to demand, as we hereby do, the publication of a full, unconditional, and unreserved withdrawal of those defamatory statements, pictures, and related imputations together with an expression of regret on the same online platforms within two hours of receiving this letter as well as for you to delete the posts in question.
… In the event that you fail to retract and delete defamatory statements as demanded, our client shall proceed to issue summons and claim damages for defamation as well as lodge a criminal complaint against you without any further notice to you.

Lawyer Demands Retraction From Acie Lumumba

Former ZANU PF member William Gerald Mutumanje a.k.a <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba">Acie Lumumba </a>has revealed that he went bankrupt last year and spent several months on cancer treatment.
Posting on social media, Lumumba also claimed that his wife, Lillian Madyara, cheated on him with his friends Zweli Lunga and Scott Sakupwanya. He wrote:

I am dealing with an incredibly painful public failure at the moment, In December last year I became bankrupt and went into debt after spending 5 months cancer treatments.
My wife confessed she was having an affair with Zweli Lunga and Scott Sakupwanya friends and business associates I had known for over 10 years; when I knew of my sickness I moved all my assets into her name for the sake of our son.
There are things about to come out that will embarrass any man and destroy any ego but I ask again that you understand it’s sensitive and I would have preferred it private, they have just chosen to make a public humiliation out of me.
I have learned on Monday I will be served with a ‘cease and desist’ order to not mention the matter, Zweli got her to sell all my assets which I have no issues with- I’ll rebuild it all.
The real issue is her two lovers are so hell-bent on proving a point they are using all influence to restrict me from access to my son.
They have requested the courts to never allow me time with my son by myself. As they start their campaign of mistruths exclusively designed to prove I’m unfit to father my son, do remember I’m just a father desperate to be in his child’s life.
I just want access to my son, I think it is brutally dark and wicked for them to restrict that. Even if I was a monster, he’s my son, except I’ve done nothing but work like a junkyard dog for that boy.
I am currently consulting legal guidance but I challenge them to a lie detector on my account to validate a single line of lies they are peddling. I have to fight for my son, I don’t know what else to do.

This saw RBZ Governor Dr <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/John_Mangudya" title="John Mangudya">John Mangudya</a> suspend the four to pave way for investigations.
Ncube fired Lumumba as chairman of the Communications Taskforce in the ministry, three days after his appointment.

"Bankrupt" Acie Lumumba Deserted By His "Cheating" Wife

Businessman and media personality <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba">Acie Lumumba</a> is reportedly battling rectal cancer, which affects the colon and rectum.
According to <a href="https://iharare.com/cancer-takes-down-acie-lumumba-wife-sells-off-all-his-property/">iHarare</a>, last year, Lumumba, whose real name is Gerald Mutumanje, successfully underwent surgery to get the cancer growth removed.
Social media personality <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Tatelicious">Queen Tatelicious</a> has also claimed that Lumumba’s wife, Lee Madyira, sold off all his properties because a doctor had reportedly said he was going to die in five months. She said:

In 2018, Lumumba made the headlines when he claimed that Zimbabwe was being looted by a group led by one Queen B.
He was appointed chairman of the Ministry of Finance communications taskforce, but he was fired three days later.

Acie Lumumba Battling Cancer

Controversial social media personality and businessman Acie Lumumba says the majority of local universities are churning out useless graduates who are not fit for purpose.
The businessman, whose full name is William Gerald Lumumba Mutumanje, said he has hired over 100 local graduates for different positions in his companies whose performances left a lot to be desired.
Lumumba further asserted that the best local graduates come from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) while those from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) need retraining.
He mocked graduates from the Midlands State University (MSU) saying that it seems as if they are taught to smoke Shisha pipes and bedroom matters. <a href="https://twitter.com/acielumumba/status/1352882502847909891?s=20" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Said, Lumumba:</a>

While some of Lumumba’s followers on Twitter concurred with his sentiments, others disagreed and questioned his own academic credentials and the criteria he uses when recruiting, with others going as far as accusing him of running backyard businesses.

Acie Lumumba: Local Universities Produce Useless Graduates

Acie Lumumba born William Mutumanje has said he was not involved in a road accident as claimed by some on social media.
He speaks after a video had circulated claiming that the former ZANU PF official’s newly acquired Mercedes Benz had been involved in a horrific accident on Sunday morning.
Circumstances leading to the said accident were not revealed. Posting via his Twitter handle, Lumumba only said:

Earlier, his sidekick Kuda Musasiwa also known as Begotten Sun had posted on Twitter saying:

Bhadella Wholesalers Closing Operations This Friday As The Economy Continues To Bite

Controversial ZANU PF activist William Mutumanje, popularly known as <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Acie Lumumba</a>, has chided Vice President Constantino Chiwenga for the way he is treating his estranged wife, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Marry_Chiwenga" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Marry Chiwenga</a> (nee Mubaiwa).
Writing on his Twitter handle @acielumumba, Mutumanje said it is not proper for a man to treat her woman in that manner. <a href="https://twitter.com/acielumumba/status/1211236917817364480?s=20" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">He wrote</a>:

Marry was remanded in custody at the notorious <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Chikurubi_Maximum_Security_Prison" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison</a> where she awaits a hearing on her bail application at the High Court.
She was arrested earlier this month and charged with fraud, money laundering and attempting to murder the Vice President while he was admitted at a South African hospital in July this year.

Acie Lumumba Criticizes VP Chiwenga For 'Mistreating' Marry

Lumumba William Gerald Mutumanje who is better known as Acie Lumumba, a Zimbabwean politician, media personality and entrepreneur has announced that he is the new owner of Wise Energy Solutions For Generations (WISE).
According to his close associate, Kuda Musasiwa, Lumumba U started with a few Jerry cans and now he has his own station.

Exiled former Cabinet Minister, Saviour Kasukuwere has said that freedom was nigh for Zimbabwe. Kasukuwere who is believed to be the leader of Generation 40 (G40) party that was recently launched, skipped the country’s borders in haste in 2017 following the demise of the late former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe.
His remarks come when there are reports suggesting that he wants to come and takeover ZANU PF leadership. It is believed that there are some G40 remnants in the ruling party who have been championing the agenda of dislodging President Emmerson Mnangagwa from power.

"Freedom Is Around The Corner," Saviour Kasukuwere

A former civil society leader, Mfundi Mlilo, is pushing for the arrest of Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube for his “disastrous economic policies” and alleged criminal conduct which have pushed the country to the brink of economic implosion.
Through an affidavit written on his behalf by Mafume Chambers to Prosecutor General (PG) <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Kumbirai_Hodzi" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kumbirai Hodzi</a>, Mlilo cited Ncube’s irregular appointment of William Mutumanje, also known as <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Acie_Lumumba" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Acie Lumumba</a>, as the Ministry’s spokesperson. Mafumbe Chambers wrote:
<blockquote>Our client is of the firm view that the public is in great danger from the propensity of the said individual (Ncube) to implement measures outside the law and then change the law to suit criminality as an afterthought.
Our client has asked us to request that you perform your constitutional duty to prosecute the criminal complaints contained herein.
Our client has instructed us to furnish your office with an affidavit that details his complaint and is available to elaborate further in person.</blockquote>
Last year, Lumumba sensationally claimed that four senior Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) officials were guilty of corruption. Prosecutor General Implored To Arrest Mthuli Ncube

One of the major fuel retailers in Zimbabwe, Redan Petroleum, is reportedly selling fuel to parliamentarians at double the normal price.
Eyebrows have been raised over the issue as it is believed that a fuel cartel is busy milking state coffers through such a deal.
Award-winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has sought for clarity over the whole issue from Energy Minister Fortune Chasi, but he has not yet received a response. <a href="https://twitter.com/daddyhope/status/1138689403277197312/photo/1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">He writes:</a>
<blockquote>Good morning Minister Fortune Chasi. We never got a response from the Parliament of Zimbabwe on why they are paying $10.50 per litre for diesel to Redan when the actual cost is more than half that inflated price. Are you able to help us understand why they are paying this price or not?
You see Minister Chasi, Redan is owned by Kuda Tagwireyi who is one of the President’s advisors and also owns Sakunda and Puma. Last year he was christened Queen Bee and accused of running a cartel by the Finance Minister through Acie Lumumba. As citizens we are helpless.
The Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has correctly located the fuel problem to cartels. If we don’t get answers we then assume that the relevant officials are either afraid of telling us the truth because they know that other big people are involved Minister Chasi.
You know as well as I do Minister Chasi that our problems are not caused by sanctions but by powerful politicians. A system that gives duty-free rebates to Lamborghinis and not struggling doctors and teachers is bound to fail. It allocates money for sports cars, not medicines.
A system that pays double the retail price for fuel is bound to collapse. A system that refuses to answer questions of public interest when using taxpayers money is bound to self destruct. You are famed for honesty and transparency Minister Chasi. Help us get answers, please.</blockquote>

President Emmerson Mnangagwa likened Zimbabwe to a train in motion which cannot be stopped.
He admonished the United Staes of America to remove the sanctions imposed on the country without any conditions. Said Mnangagwa:

Zim Is Like A Train In Motion, Unstoppable - ED

Brigadier General Emile Munemo was a former commander of the Fifth Brigade which is accused of carrying out a genocide in Matabeleland in the 1980s.
Munemo who is William Mutumanje’s father, died on Monday following a long illness. In April 1983, Munemo was promoted to commander of the Fifth Brigade after the British Army invited the then Brigadier Perrence Shiri to attend a senior officers’ course at Britain’s famous Military Academy, Sandhurst. After commanding the Fifth Brigade, Munemo went to Nigeria for further studies.
In the interview with KP Yap, a doctoral student at the University of Amsterdam, Munemo revealed how the Fifth Brigade waged war against innocent civilians in Matabeleland, arguing it was impossible to separate them from army deserters the government was attempting to track down. By the time the Fifth Brigade was withdrawn, human rights groups say at least 20,000 people were dead and countless others displaced.

Acie Lumumba's Father Oversaw Gukurahundi

Controversial ZANU PF activist William Gerald Mutumanje, better known as Acie Lumumba has lost his father, reports indicate.
Lumumba’s father was ill for some time, and at one point had to be flown to India for treatment.
The senior Lumumba’s death was revealed by radio presenter Larry Kwirirayi on Twitter. Larry posted a short <a href="https://twitter.com/kwirirayi/status/1102448026885468160" rel="noopener" target="_blank">message which reads as follows</a>:

Acie Lumumba Backs Biti's New Zim Currency Claims, Says 'Prepare Yourself'

Political analyst Acie Lumumba real name William Mutumanje has told President Emmerson Mnangagwa that leaving Vice President Constantino Chiwenga in charge was the wrong thing to do.
Lumumba said announcing a fuel hike and leaving the country for a tour of Eastern Europe was not not the problem. Responding to Mnangagwa on Twitter, Lumumba said:
<blockquote>Mr. President one week ago your government butchered innocent men and women. It was NOT the right thing to do to announce a fuel hike and run. It’s not the announcement or running that’s crazy, it’s who you left in charge. Musadaro mudhara! Tinopera kufa.</blockquote>
Mutumanje was responding to President Mnangagwa who had said:

There Will Be No Coup, Nor Another #ShutDownZim - Acie Lumumba

Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) commissioner in charge of investigations, Goodson Nguni, told the Daily News yesterday that they are willing to probe William Mutumanje popularly known as Acie Lumumba.
He said ZACC is waiting for someone to write a letter with allegations against Lumumba. Said Nguni:
<blockquote>We are waiting for someone to write a letter with the allegations against Lumumba and after that we will ask the police to arrest him.</blockquote>
This comes after Daily News reported Lumumba was paid $40 000 to smear top Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) officials and businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei. In a recording which Daily News reports is in its possession, Lumumba says his father was sent to India for treatment as part of the deal. Said Lumumba:

Anti-Corruption Commission Willing To Investigate Acie Lumumba

In a statement on Facebook, Acie Lumumba, real name William Mutumanje, apologised to President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Constantino Chiwenga for getting him involved in matters beyond his pay grade.
Lumumba also denied reports by Daily News that he received money from Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube to smear senior Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) officials. He also denied that Sakunda boss Kudakwashe Tagwirei is the mysterious Queen Bee. He said a person with the initials JPM is Queen Bee insinuating that RBZ governor John Panonetsa Mangudya is the person leading the cartel. In previous videos Lumumba exonerated Mangudya saying that he is not responsible for the economic collapse. We publish Lumumba’s latest statement below:

Lumumba Apologises To ED And Chiwenga, Says JPM Is Queen Bee

William Gerald Mutumanje popularly known as Acie Lumumba has denied reports by the Daily News that he was paid $40 000 to discredit the four suspended RBZ top officials, as well as businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei, by Finance minister Mthuli Ncube.

Acie Lumumba Denies Receiving $40 000 From Mthuli Ncube

Minister of Energy and Power Development, Jorum Gumbo has denied allegations made by Acie Lumumba, real name William Mutumanje, that there is a cartel which controls the fuel industry. Gumbo denied allegations that Puma/Sakunda owned by businessman Kuda Tagwirei has a virtual monopoly on the fuel pipeline from Mocambique. In an interview with The Standard, Tagwirei said,

Unfortunately, those allegations are coming from people that are not privy to the background of the whole matter. The pipeline from Beira to Feruka is a pipeline that is owned by the Zimbabwe government and Mozambique through a company they have formed. It so happens that Sakunda and Puma have shares in that company, National Oil Infrastructure Company of Zimbabwe (Noic), and those allegations are not true because it is a business enterprise with Companhia Do Pipeline Mozambique-Zimbabwe (CMMZ), a Mozambican company. Sakunda and Puma — because of their joint operations — have shares and it is not that they have advantages when oil comes into the country.
Fuel comes into the country under Noic and it is never influenced by Sakunda or Puma. Noic is responsible for distribution of fuel. However, I can now say that the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) have now allowed Noic to pick fuel and transport it 24 hours up to January 2019.</blockquote>
