Former Manica Diamonds midfielder, Last Jesi said his move to Sudanese side Al Hilal is a dream come true as he has always wanted to play abroad.
Jesi, who was on a loan at FC Platinum from Manica Diamonds, signed a three-year deal with the Sudanese giants. He said:
<blockquote>I have been dreaming of such a deal for a long time. It was my wish to play abroad and now here I am. I’m excited that I got a big deal in my life so far.
… I’m grateful and proud of my career and I will continue working hard. I like how the club is organised and happy to be part of them.
My task now is to help my team to achieve set goals and win accolades both for the team and myself.</blockquote>
Meanwhile, the Sunday News reported that Al Hilal are still assessing FC Platinum player Silas Songani who has been in the North African country for a week.
Songani travelled to Sudan with Jesi, agent George Deda and ex-Warriors striker Edward Sadomba, a former Al Hilal player.

'A Dream Come True', Jesi Speaks On Sudanese Move

Two FC Platinum players, Last Jesi and Silas Songani on Thursday left Zimbabwe for Sudan ahead of their transfers to Al Hilal.
The duo departed the Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare in the company of their agent George Deda as well as former Zimbabwe international Edward Sadomba, an ex Al Hilal player.
Jesi on loan at FC Platinum from Manica Diamonds since the start has signed a three-year deal with Al Hilal while the length of Songani’s contract has not been disclosed.
FC Platinum media liaison officer Chido Chizondo said Songani had been invited to Sudan for medicals and the reigning PSL champions and the Sudanese club will engage in talks about Songani’s transfer once the player passes the medical assessment.
Songani only played one competitive match for FC Platinum when he scored twice in a 2-0 win over Highlanders in the Castle Challenge Cup at Barbourfields Stadium in March.
It was Songani’s first match in Zimbabwe since he left the country in 2014 for Denmark.

Another FC Platinum Star Silas Songani has reportedly sparked Sudanese top-flight league club Al Hilal’s interest, Sunday Mail reports.
According to the publication,
<blockquote>FC Platinum could also lose star forward Silas Songani who has also reportedly attracted interest from Al Hilal. The dreadlocked player joined FC Platinum at the beginning of the year and was also in fine form for the Zvishavane side before Covid-19 stalled the games in March.</blockquote>
FC Platinum recently lost its star loan Last Jesi to the same Sudanese team after his team Manica Diamonds struck a deal with Al-Hilal and sold the player for $80 000.

Al Hilal Interested In FC Platinum's Silas Songani - Report

A Top Sudanese club Al Hilal is reportedly interested in a Bosso player and they are reportedly drafting a lucrative deal for both the player and Highlanders, The Chronicle reports. The player who could not be named for professional reasons said he heard the rumours but he was still in the dark about the whole deal.
Speaking to the publication, the handlers of the player in question said:
<blockquote>We will remain guided by the player’s current club Highlanders because our interest here is on the clause we signed with Highlanders that we will get 30 percent of the transfer fees if the player gets a deal outside the country.</blockquote>
If the deal goes through, the Bosso player will be the second one to play in Sudan after Edward Sadomba. Sudan’s Al Hilal is reportedly owned by Sudanese tycoons and they have their own 65 000-seater stadia, newspaper and television station.

Top Sudanese Club Al Hilal Sets Eyes On A Highlanders Player - Report

Al Hilal are among a number of Sudanese clubs who have targetted <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/FC_Platinum" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">FC Platinum</a> midfield workhorse Last Jesi.
Jesi joined the Zimbabwe Premier League champions in January 2019 from Manica Diamonds. He made an impressive debut in their 1-1 draw against Al Hilal when the two clubs met in the Total CAF Champions League.
Reports emerging from Mandava indicate that Jesi is set to leave the country this week for a trial stint at the Sudanese giants.
Jesi could become the latest Zimbabwean player to ply his trade in Sudan after former <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Dynamos_Football_Club" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Dynamos</a> captain <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Edward_Sadomba" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Edward Sadomba</a>, who ironically became a cult hero at Al Hilal a couple of years ago.

FC Platinum Player Off To Sudan

Edward Sadomba’s  Sudanese team Al Hilal won their 26th championship over the weekend with three games to spare after they beat Amal Atbara 5-1. This is Sadomba’s fourth title with the club and fifth career championship having won the Zimbabwe title with <a href="http://www.pindula.co.zw/Dynamos_Football_Club">Dynamos</a> in 2007 under David “Yogi’’ Mandigora.
Al Hilal had not won a championship title since 2014 and this period also coincided with Sadomba’s absence after the former Dynamos striker had moved bases. During his time away from Sudan, Sadomba played football in Libya and in the United Arab Emirates.
Sadomba has scored 11 goals so far and insisted the success was not so much about his having returned to Al Hilal,
<blockquote>Yes I feel great to win the championship . . . all glory to God because El Merreikh won last season so to win the league championship means a lot to me. It is not only about me because everybody contributed to win this championship.</blockquote>
