<a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Soul_Jah_Love">Soul Jah Love </a>‘s last manager Kudzi “Junky” Ruwisi says they had a hard time accepting that the Zimdancehall chanter had died to the extent that they placed his body on a car seat just like a normal person hoping he was still alive.
Soul Jah Love, born Soul Musaka, <a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2021/02/16/breaking-soul-jah-love-dies/">died on the 16th of February 2021</a> at <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Mbuya_Dorcas_Hospital">Mbuya Dorcas Hospital</a> in Harare. 
Ruwisi spoke to <a href="https://www.herald.co.zw/soul-jah-love-lived-a-complicated-life/">The Herald</a> in an exclusive interview detailing that people who gathered at Mbuya Dorcas Hospital were in denial that the singer had actually died. He said: 
<blockquote>
I went to Mbuya Dorcas Hospital after hearing that he had been admitted. When I got there, the doctors, despite knowing me since I always took him there previously, refused to let me in. They insisted I should call his brother first. 
While calling the brother, I went outside and discovered that a few colleagues in the music were in the car park, already crying. They are the ones who told me that Jah Love was no more. But I refused to believe it.
I remember seeing cars representing funeral homes arriving, nearly every funeral home I know was represented, with the hospital security battling to contain the situation because more people were also arriving as rumours of his death spread.
His brother, who had just arrived, turned down all funeral homes and decided to carry the remains of Sauro with his car to the mortuary. 
In fact, many people don’t know this, but we actually placed his body on a car seat, just like a normal person, because we had hope that he was still alive. We drove his body to Fidelity Funeral Home and when we arrived, we told the mortuary staff to not rush in putting it in the mortuary. 
The truth is, we did not believe that he was dead, because due to diabetes, many times he went unconscious and later woke up. But hours later we gave up, he was indeed no more.

Sauro battled diabetes for years, but many also believed that he abused drugs. 
A close friend of his told The Herald that the late chanter abused drugs as a way of dealing with personal issues including an unsupportive family, diabetes, not being a father and the societal ridicule which came as a result of it, as well as the separation with Bounty Lisa.
Soul Jah Love was declared a liberation war hero and buried at Warren Hills Cemetery.

Zimdancehall artist Bounty Lisa yesterday released a single titled Ngwendeza which is a tribute <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/breaking-soul-jah-love-dies/">to her late husband and national hero</a>, Soul Jah Love.
The duo, popularly known in the music circles as Chibaba neChimhamha or Chigunduru neChigunduress, was one of the powerful couples in the music industry.
They usually left fans asking for more. The duo parted ways two years ago and “The Female Boss” has since remarried.
In her tribute to Soul Jah Love, Bounty Lisa took a trip down memory lane reminiscing how she and Chibaba made fans sing-along to their hit songs.
The video which has since surpassed the 100 000 views mark is number 2 on trending content on YouTube.

Popular Zimdancehall chanter, Soul Jah Love born Soul Musaka has in a yet to be released song expressed his undying love for his estranged wife and songstress Bounty Lisa.
Chibaba, as Soul Jah Love is popularly known, broke-up with Chimhamha amid allegations that the Ndini Uya Uya hitmaker was exhibiting violent behaviour and excessively abusing drugs.
In the song that features Humba, Soul Jah Love recounts the misery of losing the love of his life whom he said was not prepared to let go. Some of the song’s lyrics say:
<blockquote>Munhu wese anoda ku winner hapana anoda ku loser asi apa ndinenge ndaka loser ndangova fuza (Everyone wants to win, no one wants to lose, but on this one I lost and I am going crazy.

Bounty Lisa engraved a tattoo with his name at the height of their love in 2017. Jah Love’s song comes when it is said his former wife has since moved on and re-married a secret lover only identified as Paul and they already have a sone together.

Soul Jah Love Reaches Out To Bounty In New Song

Zimdancehall chanter, Bounty Lisa, the estranged wife of another Zimdancehall chanter Soul Jah Love has dismissed reports which suggest that she is dead.
Social media was this week awash with reports of her death which suggested that she succumbed to an undisclosed ailment.
One Uncle Munhumutapa called the singer to verify the reports and she told him that it was a hoax adding that she was perfectly fine. Posting on Instagram following the interview, Uncle Munhumutapa said:
<blockquote>A story circulating on social media about @bountylisa ‘s Death Is fake… She is Fine and is not suffering from Any Illness.</blockquote>
Bounty Lisa is not the first popular Zimbabwean musicians to be proclaimed dead by social media. Others including her ex-husband, Soul Jah Love, Winky D, Killer T were previously declared dead only to resurface denying the reports.
Meanwhile, some believe some artists coin the rumours themselves to gain mileage or as a strategy to market their upcoming songs or albums.

Speaking to the Newsday Soul Jah Love said he was praying for Lisa and he will go see her soon if he is permitted:

Bounty Lisa and Soul Jah love’s marriage crumbled a few years ago, Lisa claimed her ex-husband was a violent drug addict. Deputy Arts Minister Tino Machakaire on Wednesday visited dancehall singer <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Bounty_Lisa" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bounty Lisa</a> at her <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Kuwadzana" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kuwadzana</a> home where he pledged that his ministry will assist her during her invalidity.
Bounty Lisa has been incapacitated for the past two years after developing a growth on her right thigh.
Machakaire revealed that plans are afoot to establish a fund that will assist artists in times of need. He donated $5 000 for the artist’s upkeep. Said Machakaire:
<blockquote>We will assist her in the best way possible to ensure that she gets the necessary medical attention here locally and when it fails we take it to another stage. We want her to get back to her usual self and be able to fend for herself.
We will be mapping the way forward on how we can assist our artists by establishing a facility that will benefit them in times of need. It is high time that such an initiative is in existence.</blockquote>
Lisa’s father Pinias Musenyi lamented her daughter’s incapacitation, saying she had become the family breadwinner before her illness.
Musenyi revealed that the family is struggling to make ends meet and is no longer able to afford the US$170.00 that their landlord is demanding.

Zimdancehall artist, Soul Jah Love, real name Soul Musaka, is reported to have turned violent and gone on a rampage after taking an undisclosed drug. The dancehall chanter turned violent and assaulted his wife, fellow dancehall musician Bounty Lisa, real name Lisa Musenyi, using fists and an iron bar. Soul Jah Love accused his wife of infidelity and of carrying another man’s child. However, Bounty Lisa disputed the accusation saying that she was not even pregnant and blamed the unknown drug for causing Soul Jah Love to become paranoid.
Speaking to the Daily News, Bounty Lisa said:
<blockquote>He threw my bags out of the house, dragged me into the house and started hitting me with an iron bar.
He sent his brother to buy a pregnancy test kit whose results were negative. Everybody in the house saw the result but I was already being assaulted.
Problems started around October last year when he began taking this particular drug and would allege there were people in the house but many of us who were living with him in the house did not see these people</blockquote>
Bounty Lisa later reported the assault at Rhodesville Police Station in Harare and the couple was later counselled at the station.  Bounty is reported to have forgiven her husband. Zimdancehall artist, Soul Jah Love, real name Soul Musaka, paid lobola for his long time sweetheart Bounty Lisa, real name Lisa Musenyi. Th Soon after the formalities, Bounty Lisa said,
<blockquote>It happened today (Saturday16 August) at my parents’ home in Kuwadzana. It has been four years since we fell in love. Soul’s brother Ba Paris came accompanied by his two uncles who acted as the go-betweens (vanyai) said Lisa.
The go between parted with a dowry of US$9000 in cash. They were later joined by Spicey T. Sammy and his close friend Discord of music group Mafrique after all the formalities were done.
On my side there was my proud mum and dad, my dad’s two sisters and my mum’s brother, who helped my brothers Banda and Jefferson with the formalities,
We had a short moment of celebrating with my sisters and the two families before our manager Benji (Nyandoro) rushed us to the gigs that Baba Serani (Soul Jah Love) had to go to perform at.</blockquote>

Speaking to The Chronicle Soul Jah Love said that he is planning a white wedding with on and off girlfriend Bounty Lisa. He also revealed that he will be launching a 12 track album on September 30 at Stoddart Complex in Harare.
Jah Love said that fans outside of Harare will get the tracks online as they will be uploaded on his social media networking sites. Said Jah Love:

The chanter expressed surprise that Jah Love, real name Soul Musaka, is still in love with ex-wife <a href="http://www.pindula.co.zw/Bounty_Lisa" target="_blank">Bounty Lisa</a>, as he has been calling her and trying to hook up with him.
Lindsay said:
